History of the brand

Everything we can be proud of today began in 1971.

It was then that the founders of Deni Cler – a married couple of Italian entrepreneurs: Mario Picozzi and designer Maria Grazia Benatti, met in Mantua in northwest Italy to create our brand.

The first factory was opened in 1972 in Castellucchio, followed by the first store in Milan

on the prestigious Via Monte Napoleone, next to the Prada, Gucci and Armani boutiques. Initially, the company was a family business. Maria Grazia Benatti, who was responsible for the artistic and stylistic supervision of the collection, employed designers who were well-known in the Milan market, such as Martin Margiela, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

Twice a year, Deni Cler launched five different stylistic lines which were sold not only in the Italian market but also in European countries such as Switzerland, Austria, Spain, and in Japan and the USA.

In 1991, the brand appeared in the Polish market to win the hearts of Polish women who love classic Italian style and the highest quality.

Today, DENI CLER is a well-developed sales network with over forty stores all over Poland. Every year, carefully selected models are offered that create bold collections of the highest quality fabrics, with fine accessories and a designer cut.
